Things I’ve done so far
2024 — 2026
Inorigo AB
Lead UX/ Product/ Designer / Creative Director| Remote
Designing tools, applications and systems for the inorigo® Platform and taking on the responsibility of Creative Director and developing the Inorigo Brand.
In 2024, Inorigo AB became independent of Ortelius. I continued my work as the company’s de facto designer while taking on new responsibilities as creative director, managing brand & communications.
2020 — 2024
Ortelius AB
Lead UX-Designer | Malmö
Working with the inorigo® Platform. Designing tools, applications and systems.
During the pandemic, I transitioned from Topp to Ortelius. As their Lead Designer, I implemented and managed the design system I had previously delivered as a consultant for Topp, and I designed many new tools and developed platform features.
2015 — 2020
Topp Design & Innovation
Senior UX Designer | Malmö
Working with a wide array of projects and clients
and areas. Clients include, Miele, Samsung, SL, E.ON, Verisure, Ortelius, Lenovo and Médecins sans frontières
When my previous employer called it quits, I was already on an assignment for Topp – and they decided to bring me on as a UX designer. Topp focused on designing and prototyping for emerging experiences and platforms, including voice, augmented reality, and IoT. It was a great environment for learning and experimentation.
2010 — 2015
Color Monkey AB
Concept / UX / Sound Designer | Malmö
Digital design agency specializing in app design.
Clients included: Sony, Spotify and Eniro.
At the height of the App-boom, I joined a small studio that balanced consultancy work with self-produced mobile apps and games. Games include “Revenge of the Rob-o-bot”, “Masks of Glory,” and “Sortle”. Color Monkey also produced one of the first successful running apps, “Run-Star,” and the iPad vinyl player emulator VinylLove. During this period, I also doubled as sound director/designer.
2007—2010
The Astonishing Tribe AB, TAT
Interaction Designer / Concept Designer | Malmö
Working in TAT’s innovation and concept department, developing and pitching concepts, pushing boundaries, and building prototypes and demos.
After consulting at SonyEricsson, I returned to The Astonishing Tribe and helped launch their new Concept Department. During that period, I worked with emerging technologies, including Augmented Reality, 3D interfaces, projected interfaces, and multi-haptic interfaces.
2005—2007
Sony Ericsson Mobile
Human Interface Designer | Lund
Consulting as a designer (still employed by TAT) for Sony Ericsson’s Global Creative Design Center.
Working as a Lead UI designer for various
phone models, accessories, and applications. Also, the lead UI designer for mobile web and mobile TV, among other things. This was at the height of the Walkman era up until the release of the first iPhone, a very interesting time indeed.
2004—2005
The Astonishing Tribe AB, TAT
Visual Designer | Lund / Malmö
Working with UI, mobile Interfaces, iconography etc.
TAT was an influential mobile user interface design company that developed high-performance graphical interfaces and rendering software for mobile devices. When I joined, there were fewer than 20 employees. When I left in 2007, the same day it was acquired by RIM (BlackBerry), there were about 170 employees. I started out as a visual designer but soon pivoted to working with UI design.
2003—2004
Pontus Jarenskog Design
Graphic Design / Brand Work | Malmö / Göteborg
Freelancing as graphic designer.
After graduating, I found myself looking for work just as the IT bubble popped. While looking for employment, I did some freelance work focused on brand design and print. My primary client at the time was the doll/toy manufacturer Rubens Barn AB, for whom I designed logos, catalogs, and more.
2003
School of Arts and Communication

Paralell with doing some freelance work I took classes in design theory and design history.
2000—2002
Masters of Media, Cross Media Producer
Education | Malmö
Studies 90p, web, multi-media, print, motion etc.
A bit disillusioned with the film business and excited about the prospects of multimedia and the web, I chose to broaden my skills. Masters of Media was a cross-disciplinary “Higher Vocational Education.” The internship was completed at Vision Park Game Studio and Dragster Advertising Agency.
1999—2000
Gemoll & Johnsson Production
Production Assistant / Video Editor | Malmö
Project Employment/Freelance. Working in varous roles.
Irregular contracts for a company in music video production. This was at the end of the MTV era, when record companies still had budgets for videos, and they were shot on film. During that period, I worked on 2 Grammy-winning videos and also did a bit of editing and VFX work.
1998—1999
Art College / Gothenburg Film School
Education | Göteborg
Studying film and video production, photo, audio and editing.
A practical education offered in collaboration with Folkuniversitetet’s Art College and Gothenburg Film School. This education was largely about honing my skills and gaining practical experience.
1997—1998
Documentary Film Program
Education | Prästmon
Studying documentary film and video production.
After High School (gymnasium), I attended a ‘folkhögskola’ specializing in documentary production. I’ve always had an interest in storytelling, and at the time, I was excited about the advancements in digital video and editing.
1994—1997
Media Gymnasium
Education | Göteborg
Studying at Munkebäcks gymnasiet.
The then-new Media ‘High School’ was an obvious choice; it embodied progress and creativity. There, I laid the groundwork for my skills in video and audio production, communication, and graphic design. My first encounter with Photoshop and Illustrator (version 3!).

The journey begins.
I was fortunate to be born into a family of creatives, artists, and educators. I learned the values of curiosity, playfulness, empathy, and creativity from an early age.
